A call came in to the Scoutmaster this week. An Eagle graduate from Troop 334 who is in the police academy was asked if there was anyone who knew how to fold the American flag. In an entire class of young men and women there were only 3! Our Eagle was one of them and because of what he learned as a Boy Scout he was but one step ahead of his classmates and asked to be part of an honor guard. In the first few weeks of Academy training this young man became a shining star in a group of already bright young men and women, because of his scout training. As his community we should be proud of him and share his success with our up and coming stars.
